Hi, I’m Sanskar.
I do backend and systems work, and lately a lot of it is AI and agent infrastructure.
Most of what’s on this site I built to understand how something works, not to ship it. A B+Tree and an LSM-tree engine, a Raft implementation, a distributed tracing backend, an LLM eval pipeline, an agent runtime. Mostly Go and Python. I’ve found I don’t really understand a system until I’ve written a rough version of it myself and watched it break.
I try to be honest about what these are. Most of them are studies, not production databases, and I would rather say that than dress them up. What I actually care about is getting the fundamentals right and writing them down clearly. That is what this site is for.
